PRESIDENT DAVID STARK VICE-PRESIDENT DOUG HOLEN SECRETARY ANDREA TURBAK TREASURER JERRY SNOW Sophomore Class Adds 292 The largest class ever to enter WHS holds as one of its characteristics quality as well as quan- tity. This year's sophomores have demonstrated their salesmanship in their magazine drive, their artistic ability in their winning Ki-Yi float, and their intelligence in their taking part in the accel- erated math program. Mr. Melvin Hanson, the class adviser, has many good reasons to be proud of his group. Not only have their cheerleaders added to the support of the football and basketball teams, but the class as a whole has contributed It • II nOISe. Among the sophomores' other memories are Ki-Yi Kapers, biology labs, and becoming acquainted with the building, the teachers, and -the homework assignments. The upperclassmen wish them luck as they continue their high school career, a career which they have begun on the right foot. Prize-winning float required much work 43
