These students met after school and on weekends, then broke into two different teams to find interesting ways to solve problems. The members of DI brainstormed creative solu– tions and innovative problem-solving meth– ods. They worked to perfect their solutions before competing with other teams from around the region. Students interested in the legal sys– tem found Mock Trial to be an exciting extra– curricular activity to learned the true work– ings of the judicial system. Members pros– ecuted or defended a court case after spend– ing long hours after school and onweekends ressearching and practicing. Their continu– ous effort paid off, earning them a fifth place finish in the state tournament.
