What are your opinions on relationships? "I think they are pretty pointless because 90 percent of them won't work out after high school." -Laura Jones "I've been dating the same guy since I was fourteen and it's hard when you meet new people and want to try new things." -Tasha Arnold "They are great! Just because ... it's high school!" -Brandon Bums "I believe that it can be a good thing in helping out the maturity level of high school kids, es– pecially the freshmen .. " -Steven Rohall r---------------------------, :Dream Dates I 1 During the school year, students spent : most of their time searching for that special someone, or at least trying to secure a date for Saturday night. Sitting in class, walking down the halls, and cheering at games, couples could be seenwith googly-eyes and puppy love breath. Sharing time with someone special was the highlight of many students' years. Mter school couples filled the hours and weekends with laughs and kisses. Those without a significant other, however, were not exempt from the love bug. Many singles were stuck watching Public Displays of Mfection (P.D.A.) by the happy couples. Xi Lin stated, "P.D.A.? That is so, ugh, gross!" But despite the downfalls of high school romance for some students, the dynamic duos treasured their time together. L---------------------------~ 28 Student Life Starn-[\ ed.
