Face The Grit of the Ice As the Franklin Rebels skated onto the ice the tension mounted when members of rival teams met to face off. The Rebels had a difficult time this season, being in the toughest division, but they held their own. Among Rebel fans, the hockey fever had just started to grow and was gaining popularity and a winning reputation. Tennessee had not been known for hockey until recently. Puck-slinger Josh Cohen exclaimed, "Sports have never been so physical and cold at the same time!" We had a rough start but ended with a bang stated Patrick Totty. A new generation of hockey players was born and they were known as the Franklin Rebels. Buff and Bold.
