Shoot for the Heart TheLadyRebels steppedup to quite a challenge after losing several valuable players. Four years of high school bas– ketball paid off for starting seniors Karen Hargrove, Katie Jackson, Brittney Potts, and Precious Solomon. With their sharp shooting, flawless passing, and solid de– fense, the girls were able to dribble their way to a position of respect as the female counterpart of the state-ranked boys ' team. The girls scored crucial wins over rival Centennial Lo;-t ~e and never failed ' V ' to put on a good show for their support– ive spectators. After grueling practices for months, the Lady Rebels had some– thing to show for their tireless efforts. Whenever the girls took to the court for a game, the stands were watching, because these players knew how to put the sweat, tears, and love behind the basketball. The Lady Rebel Basketball Team finished the season with a record of 14-11 0 Sport Katie Jackson was named All-district Karen Hargrove was named All-District Tournament Brittney Potts was named All-Region
