Row Two: Dole Worner, Gerold Root, Reed Wahlquist, William Garner, Maur– ice Conroy, leon Willie. and Secretaries The Faculty Council was composed of the Principal, the Assistant Principal, the Dean of Girls, the Dean of Boys, and the chairman of each academic department. Chairmanship of a department rotates each year, giving each teacher an opportunity to be a member of the Council. These people functioned as mediators between the administration and the faculty, solving problems and establishing policies regarding rules and activities, which ordinarily would confront the entire faculty. In addition to the usual clerical duties, our secretaries also sold books, issued tickets, duplicated tests, and answered countless ques– tions.
