Guilds Olvmpidae Through participation in the Olympidae, Latin students were introduced to the fascinating civili– zation of historical Rome. Various Roman holidays were commemorated with guild parties, the most colorful of them being the Roman Banquet. Don– ning Roman togas, guild members enjoyed both the atmosphere and food of an authentic Roman feast. Also during the year, members were fav– ored with several lectures which painted vivid pictures of Rome and her glorious past.
