22 Mr. Merrill Ross Wood Shop Mr. Foss Sessions Auto Mechanics Mr. Oscar Coburn General Shop, Jewelry Mr. Joseph Stott Auto Meehan ics Industrial Arts Students who have the ability to work with their hands found that an opportunity to learn new skills was offered them by the many Industrial Arts courses. The uses of many hand and power tools were taught in wood shop where enrolled students made wall shelves, stools, and lamps by the use of these tools. The auto mechanics course taught many students how to repair engines, a knowledge that helped many of them obtain better per– formance from their cars. In addition to teaching their In Auto Mechanics, Edwin Watson and Barry DeSilva learn that w ith proper equipment, minimum labor is required for a quick tire repair.
