Ogden High School 1961 Yearbook (Ogden, UT) - Full Access

The Ogden High School Concert Band Harmony and self-expression through music were instilled in the minds of the students enrolled in music. The talents of the students were developed by their participation in programs presented at school, civic, social, and religious functions. The instrumental division, which was composed of the band and orchestra, performed in concerts, at games, at dances, and in outside programs and assemblies. The choral division presented the annual Christmas Concert featuring the A Cap– pella Choir which occasionally performed on assemblies during the year. The students in both divisions performed with exceptional ability and enthusiasm as they presented many types of music in style ranging from sacred and classical music to popular and folk tunes.
