Major John F. Bailey PMS&T Major William C. Carper PMS&T ' M/ Sgt. Thomas 0. Hayes PMS&T The Ogden High School R.O.T.C. Battle Group received in– struction on military tactics and self-discipline under the direction of its two Majors and five Sergeants. Region and invitational meets attracted the Judo and Rifle teams, the most popular teams sponsored by the department. The Exhibition Platoon mastered many complicated drills and performed these interest– ing exhibitions with skill and perfection. The Ceremonial Squad raised and lowered the flag each school day in addition to sup– plying a well-trained squad for civic groups upon request. The officers demonstrated the ability to teach the following subjects: marksmanship, courtesies, first aid, map reading, military terms, and customs.
