Spe ch As it has in the past, the Ogden High Speech Department of 1960-61 was outstanding in the accomplishment of its activities. Ogden has been one of the leading schools in the Western District in both the forensic and interpretive divisions. Stu– dents of the forensic courses studied advanced types of speech which included impromptu talks, oratory, and debate. They were members of the National Forensic League and participated in state and regional debate and oratory competition. Stu– dents enrolled in interpretive speech studied previ– ously written plays, reading, and pantomimes. These students sponsored the school play, broad– casted "Tiger Flashes," and participated in the state and regional play presentation. RaNae Hadley, Carol Bozner, and Anne Barrow set up Nila Bunderson as a man– nequ in as their pantomime assignment in Drama . Mrs . Portia Douglas Speech, Debate, Dramatics The " George Wash ington Slept Here'' play cast accepts the applause of the aud ience after a successful two -night run .
