COMPANY B THE YEAR 1945-46 in B Company proved very eventful and was marked by many out– standing accomplishments, the greatest of which was the ultimate victory in the A League basketball season. The fight and spirit of the company was portrayed throughout the season and especially at the Last game with A Company. Hadley, this year, had the Largest number of old boys to return, and the majority of the Latin-American students. All through the year B maintained the highest scholastic average, and strangely enough, also contained a very large share of varsity athletes. B was honored to have the largest percentage of war veterans, with Warren Frank and Buzz Hummer returning, the former an ex-SeaBee and the latter a Marine. In the Government Inspection, the first platoon of Company B was chosen for the defense problem and carried it out very creditably.
