Jerry crashed over for the score. D1ck Gannon converted for the Cadets. Later in the econd period Nixon took a Farragut punt on his own five and ran ninety-five yards behind beautiful blocking for the econd tally. The placement failed this time. Farragut kicked off but hardly a minute pa ed before Manliu had the ball on a recovered fumble. Again Nixon brought the cro~ d to it feet by scampering sixty-seven yards for another score. Nixon pa ed to Harvey ampson for the point. In the third quarter the Cadets topped off a seventy-live-yard drive when Nixon again cored from the Farragut nine. Again Dick Gannon converted. In the la t minute the Middie unlea hed a pa ing attack that brought the ball to the Manliu twenty, but Harry tathe' interception halted the drive. E pecially noted for their fine play were guard Herro W:1rren and end Art pinney and pike Gannon. The pirit of the adet wa very high and the crowd of ,000 heard many loud cheer . A word mu t be aid for the Middie , who fought hard all the war and never gave up. Their goal line till unblemi hed, the Cadet routed their next victim , Haver traw, by the core of 32-0. This game was high-lighted by Pete Delisser' sensational 42-yard pa to Art pinney, and Tom Powers' thrilling 0-yard gallop after intercepting an enemy pa . Both of thee brilliant plays resulted in touchdown . The next to suffer from the Big Red juggernaut was Binghamton. They had little chance against the now highly-poli hed Manliu machine, and the score ended at 18-0. Fear stabbed the heart of the Cadets a a high- pirited Elmira team nearly cored and eemed to spoil our defen ive. In the second period, however, a 32-yard touchdown pas from ixon to pinney broke the ice. Then Elmira began to falter and finally collap ed before our on !aught. The final score wa 19-0. Wallowing in the mud, the Red and Black met their final seasonal opponent , Jame town. Bill O 'Donnell took the ball on a reverse play and ran sixty yard to draw first blood . The vi itor , how– ever, were tough, and it looked like a grim battle ahead.
