Eddmgton SWIMMING THI YEAR Lieutenant Eddington, as coach, with the aid of the co-captain , hick and Jack Fleck, organized and trained a formidable team, in preparation for the tou h meet which were on their chedule. Unfortunately many ca e of illne cut down the efficiency of the team and tended to defeat the effort of the coach and cadet . The fir t meet wa that again t ew York Military Academy. De pite the excellent spirit and fight of the team, featured by Gene Aguerrvere' fifty-yard free- tyle and diving, the adet went down to defeat, 0-23. Then came the olgate B uad, with Jack Fleck and Aguerrevere turning in out tanding performance again t thi powerful college team, which won, 0-22. At Roche ter the Red and Black lo t their third traight to MarshaiJ High, 0-26. Here hick Fleck took fir t in the 100-yard and Aguerrevere again howed kill and peed. In the return meet with Mar hall, the adet were overpowered to the tune of 33-25. Although hick Fleck won the 50-yard free- tyle and Marten took the 100-yard back troke, N.Y.M.A. defeated the mo t valiant effort of the Manlius team and won, 42-26.
