Capt. Branigan, Laver, Chittick, Middaugh, Lenore, Herr, Long GOLF THE VARSITY golf season was shortened this year because of the early date of Govern– ment Inspection, but the team, under the expert coaching and guidance of Captain Branigan, managed to play two matches, winning one. The Cadets lost their first match of the season to Eastwood High chool, of yracuse, by a score of 10 to 2. Bob Middaugh, the team captain and number one man, took the two points in this encounter. The second match at Green Lakes went to the Cadets by a score of 7V 2 to 41;1. Their opponents this time were Valley High chool, also of Syracuse.
