The Board, under the guidance of aptain Roberts, was headed by Editor– in-Chief Arthur Humphreys. Progress was a sured by weekly meeting at which atten– dance held up remarkably well. The business staff, with Leslie Deming as manager, set out to obtain all adverti ing early in the year and completed its quota in record time. Photography for this year' bo k was again handled by arony. Unfortunately, covers were at a premium and delayed delivery of the annual, though the order for them wa placed earlier than ever before. Howard Coggeshall, our printer, luckily secured paper stock that is the envy of all publishers today. The consistent efforts and interest on the part of the staff made the Haversack Board one of the most active organization on post. Plugging away to meet required deadline Editor Humphreys and his colleagues did a very commendable job.
