The year has come to a
close, and now the cheering,
the porn poms, and the long
practices must all be put
aside only to be brought back
with the arrival of a new year.
We leave the locker room
showers, the football fields,
the bleachers, and the school
gyms with a feeling of fulfill–
ment and accomplishment.
For as Waianae Seariders,
(whether we be participants
as an athlete or in supporting
our athletes) we have execut–
ed extraordinary perfor–
mance.
The athletes have over–
come all obstacles in the most
rugged times of competition.
And they have endured long,
vigorous hours of practice in
order to insure their strongest
ability when competing with
unpredictable opponents.
These athletes have exper–
ienced the "Agony of De–
feat" and inevitably the
"Thrill of Victory". In short,
they, as an individual and a
team, have proven their pow–
er to be effective. Yet, with–
out their supporters, these
athletes would not have been
able to carry their title
"Waianae Seariders" with
devotion and pride, as far as
they have
-
"we bow to the
people in the red and blue"!!!
