The first of four years at Wai 'anae High School offers the new comers a challenging start for high school life. The
first day of school never failed to leave some Freshmen frustrated as to where their classes were located. But it was
always
a
relief to see
a
famihar face, whether another Freshmen or an upperclassmen, who was willing to guide them
in the right direction . Throughout their remaining years at Wai'anae High, they will inevitably be called upon to assist
their peers in various ways.
The Class of '84, although starting out
a
bit quiet at pep rallies, developed their class spirit almost immediately
during Homecoming week. Soon afterwards. they settled right into the swing of high school functions, uniting their
pride and energies. The Spirit of Aloha is ever-present here, as the lending of a helping hand and the coming
together as one are excellent examples.
