The future linemen of C.V

Coach Marble g1ves h1s players some

pointers.

The C.V. seventh and

eighth graders were

organized into four eight

man teams this past year

and played intramural

games against each

other. The league did

prove to be very bal–

anced. Going into the

last week of the season,

any one of the four

teams had a chance to

win the team champion–

ship, or tie for it. Ulti–

mately, the Cowboys

won the championship

with a 3-1-2 record,

closely followed by the

other teams.

Emphasis was placed

on learning skills and

having fun. By the

response of the boys, it

certainly seems that

these

goals

were

attained. Next year's

goals will be the same,

with the additional goal

of getting more boys

involved.

Bnngmg home the bacon.
