The fall of 1975 was a successful season for

U-E' s Cross Country team. We were 5 and 2

in dual meets in our conference. One of the

losses was a one-pointer to Cart land. The J -V

team lost only one dual meet and finished tied

for first in the west division of STAC. The

team's performance in the large invitations was

generally good; we placed very we

in most

every meet. We placed fourth at the Chenango

Valley Run in a strong field of

second in Hie U-E sponsored Conwicke Run

out of

schools, and our J-V team finished

second. The high light for the season was the

Greenman lnvitationa I in which our varsity was

first out of 17 schoo Is and the J-V second.

In our fina I meet, the Section

we placed third. U- E' s top two runners, Joe

Toth and Steve Miller, qua Ii fied for the State
