LEFT: These soccer players really know how to use
their heads!
This year the U-E J-V Soccer team started as a young,
inexperienced team. Through a series of close contests,
age and wisdom developed them into a new team. It was
a process of rebuilding and relocating as ninth graders
moved up to the high school. It was a process of enthus–
iasm and determination that shaped the members of this
squad. Tim Briggs, the captain, is typica I of this new
spirit found in soccer. Next year our tenth grade vete–
rans move up to varsity, but wi II leave behind a nucleus
from which next year's season wi II grow.
