Varsity Swimming
The Varsity Swim Team this year completed a very successful season:
6 wins, 6 losses. They finished third in a strong showing at the Sec–
tion
4
meet at Colgate. Since the Varsity Swim Team gears its entire
season to its performance at the Sectionals, Coach Benjamin was very
pleased with the results. Every swimmer clocked his best time, and

school records were broken: Senior Ra lph Garrison in the 50 and 100
yard freestyles, and freshman Dan Jensen in the 2 00 IM and 100
breastroke. Senior Mark Oney placed second in the 100 backstroke at
both the sectional s and intersectional s, thereby qualifying for the State
Meet.
