Under the leadership of coaches Joe Lucia and
Karen Birchall, the co-ed junior varsity team
had an outstanding season. Having 11 wins,
2 losses, and 1 tie, the team

were suffered against a strong Ithaca team. At
the Vestal Invitational at the close of the sea–
son, comparable to the Varsity Sectionals, UE

ca could only manage 2 53, thus giving Ithaca
its first defeat in 7 years! Taking first places
for UE at the invitational were: Jeff Coudriet,
Arnie Olsen, Tim Miller, Dave Houck--Med–

Judi Fisher--100 breastroke (1:18.4).
