Honor Society inducts
at candlelight ceremony
Beginning the year with a note of solemnity,
junior members of

ational Honor Society inducted
twe nty seniors into the organization in an assembly
Octobe r 28.
New members signed the honor scroll and lis–
te ned

arship, service, leade rship, and characte r, four essen–
tial membership qualificati ons.
The group he ld a Christmas tea Decembe r 20, for
all college-atte nding students of the class of
1966.
In the spring, honor socie ty members participated
in a foreign exchange assembly he ld in the AndrewS.
Drape r high school auditorium.
At the spring tea honoring the faculty, junior
membe rs were inducted into the group and Tom
Delaney, pres ide nt, presented a gift to the
f~1culty.'
The society donated award monev to two students
for excell e nce in physics and biology'.
