Assistant Principal -
Samuel Manella
In a school the size of Yonkers High School, disci–
pline problems are inevitable. Every YHS student
has, at some point in hi career, come face to face
with one or the other of our famous disciplinarians.
Every day, a select group of student make their pil–
grimage to the tardy-cut office, bearing the forged
notes and excuse lips neces ary to placate Mr.
Barnhard. Some never return. While Mr. Barnhard
works the de k, Mr. Manella patrols the beat. What
tudent has not heard Mr.' Manella's rousing bari–
tone reverberating through the school with: "Let's
clear these halls, People!"? The're are some things
that will remain embedded in the woodwork of YHS
long after we are gone: Mr. Manella's voice is one
of them.
