A lively and intere Ling school new pap r ha always been an integral part
of the YHS c ne. However, thi year's BROADCASTER wa be et with both
internal and external difficultie which made its publication a difficult and
thankle job. in
there were two Editor -in-Chief, ther r ult d inevitable
quabble that come with having too many cooks in the oup. In addition,
good feature material was hard to find. ometime only a feeble ffort was
made to di cu s any issue of real significance to the tudent body out ide of
chool trivia. Even th se attempt soon b cam merely clich ·d re tatement of
attitudes and opinion , and an expre sion of be t wi he for a p edy resolu–
tion of the cri i .
However, much of the responsibility for putting out a good paper rests with
the student . The va t majority of th tudents thi year w r apathetic and
uninter ted in school functions. The paucity of contribution and ub crip–
tion mirror thi apathy. Thus, although th taff labored long and hard against
eemingly in urmountable odds, the n w paper was an exerci e 1n futility.
