National Honor Society

An organization filled with activities and

experiences - The club for one who pays the

price- Members are selected on criteria of

scholarship, leadership, service and character

-The national organization of the dedicated

-Induction ceremonies, candles held high,

with pledges of support - An early morning

breakfast, receiving pins - Plays at Pioneer

Memorial, selling tickets to raise money –

Joining in an ice skating party and barn dance

-Creating a Christmas tree and decorating a

hall - The National Honor Society - In–

volved, ending the year with the summer

Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City - Sac–

rifices for grades paying off in good, cultural

fun. Led by Kathleen Smouse, president; Kevin

Tracy, vice-president; Camille Mitchell, secre–

tary; Kristine Astin, treasurer; Robyn Frasier,

historian; and Mark Beard and Diane Packard,

publicity managers.
