To maintain its position at the head of the

city high schools, Washington must shape its

program to fit the needs of the students and

the changing times. This was once again illus–

trated by the graceful expansion this year in

dealing with the incorporation of another cam–

pus. Catering to the individual needs of the

student body, Washington's curriculum in–

cludes

all

of the acadenric fields, as well as

home economics, industrial arts, and commer–

cial courses. Advanced courses in physics,

chemistry, mathematics, and composition have

recently been added for those able to cope

with college-level subjects.
