Paddlers Stroke Towards Victory
Canoeing is a strenuous sport. It requires participants to have both mental and physical
strength. Members of the teams conditioned themselves physically by running from Waianae
High School to Pokai Bay where they practiced their stroke everyday. Mentally they were
readied by their coaches who gave talks to build up their spirit and confidence. Working
together the canoeing team and their coaches weathered their problems and showed their
awesome ability to win.
