

Seniors select Charles,
Janet for
Honor and achievements
have been earned by this
year' s Mr. and Miss WMHS
throughout their years of high
school, both in the classroom
and in extracurricular activities.
Janet Moorhead and Charles
Headrick were selected by
fellow seniors to be recognized
as Mr. and Miss WMHS.
Charles earned early
recognition this year for
setting a school record with a
field goal. Added to his
accomplishment was his being
named as all-district place
kicker and to the coaches'
team as place kickers.
Charles, who was president
of National Honor Society,
was president of Fellowship of
Christian Athletes, and an
recognition
Anchor Club admiral. Charles
was recipient of the DAR
Good Citizenship award and a
two-year letterman in football.
Janet was elected president of
her class throughout high
school, which gave her
membership in Student Council
for three years. Homecoming
queen in her senior year, she
was a three-year cheerleading
veteran, serving as head
cheerleader in both junior and
senior years. As a junior, she
won the chemistry award and
received the Mason' s award
for Honesty and Integrity. Vice
president of National Honor
Society, Janet was a member
of Y-Teens, Octagon, and
Anchor Club for three years.
