Making a significant
contribution during their first
year at the high school, four
sophomores composed halt of
the Flag Corps and three
sophs were included in ten
Rebelette Drummers.
Debbie Robinson, Patti
Brownell, Julie Oglesbee now
share in the part of the
cadence played in pep rallies
and on the football field, or
whenever the Rebelette
organization marches.
Lack of upperclass
participation in the drums is
the reason tor the sophomores
in the corps, according to
Rebelette sponsor Mrs. Mary
Coleman.
The four girls who have
found their afternoons
consumed with Flag Corps
practice are Leslie Laws,
Sharon Swope, Lauren Laird,
and Shawn Ramsey. Each was
on the flag corps at West
Monroe Junior High.
