MOMENTS
OF
SERVICE
Red Cross Youth, a volunteer
service
oriented
group,
included people in grades 7-12
who enjoy helping people. The
money received from voluntary
student contributions during
the annual fund drive sup–
ported activities such as a
Spring Fair for B.O.C.E.S. hand–
icapped children; sponsoring
blood programs for donors over
17; supplying materials for sen–
ior citizens groups and prepar–
ing disaster kits for children vic–
tims of fires and floods.
The club was privileged this
year to have two members,
Terry Bennett and Carol War–
ing, honored with the positions
of President and Vice-President
of the Broome County Red
Cross Youth Council.
The Health Office Assistants
helped the school nurses, per–
forming many duties for them.
Our school's library assistants
also provided an important
service for the school. Both
Senior High and Junior High
students gave their time and
efforts to help the library faculty
members in many ways.
