The 1975-76 Tiger basketball team, developing their
own identity as an unselfish team, continued the win–
ning tradition at UE by winning the STAC championship
game over Binghamton North by a score of 52-50. The
Tigers were 18-0 going into the Section IV playoffs.
The Tigers' success was the result of dedication, hus–
tle, and determination by all who wore the Orange and
Black. Led by two returning veterans, Tom Buiocchi
and Mark Hover, and inspired by the exceptional devel–
opment of John Snyder, Bob Crane and Mark Patrick,
the entire Tiger team jelled into a unit which brought
outstanding success to a deserving group of Fine ath–
letes. Time after time the Tigers helped each other and
took up any slack that might have developed. Fifteen
players played as one unit and brought pride and success
to their team and their school. This is teamwork--and
Teamwork was the trademark of the Tigers this year.
