The tennis team extended its consecutive victory
streak to 43 before absorbing a loss at the hands of
Ithaca. The netmcn gained e leven victories agains t
a schedule that included several powerful opponents.
Te rry Deery and Eric House conb·ibuted to the
second place finish in the Section III tournament with
a doubles championship. The strong play of Mike
House was a determining factor in the Jackets' fine
season. Good efforts by juniors and sophomores prom–
ised conti nuing success for the team in seasons to
come.
