The students of YHS would like to make
a special recognition in this section of
the yearbook to Shy - the school mascot.
The following is written in the YHS stu–
dent handbook:
"Shy, the YHS bulldog belonging to the
principal, is the special pet of all Yonkers
High students. He is present at most ath–
letic events and parades and has been
known to demonstrate his objections to
the opposing team."
