The Student Council is one of the most important parts of the school. It is the
government of the school. It is run by the students themselves with the help of
our advisor, Mr. Somers.
At our first meeting we elected officers. They are: President, Robert Cross;
Vice-President, Catherine Button; Secretary, Joan Anderson; and Treasurer,
Steven Ibey.
The Student Council sponsored the Magazine Drive and the One-Act Plays. With
the profits from these the Student Council buys sports equipment and other
needed things around the school.

Sophomores were tied in the race to reach their quota and each

Brian Cushman and Mary Mattoon each sold over one hundred
subscriptions. We hope next year's class can do as well. Good
again this year.
