ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY
DR. WALTER L. BRAUER
Principal
Our world is about
to
witness ever greater development in technology and still
more rapid changes. The differential between technology and human ability to
work out adjustments will become all th more acute. To help meet the challenge
it would be well for all to keep two thoughts in mind. First, it is not enough to
have knowledge and
be
able to think right; we must also possess a certain breadth
of feeling and sympathy. We n ed to try to understand human destiny and pur–
poses of life as well as to know facts and reason well. S condly, k ep in mind
that no individual
is
genuinely and lastingly happy unless he has something
be–
yond himself to care about and work for. In serving others,
be
it individuals,
groups, or causes, comes self-realization.
