4 and 5 yards out to guide the Bears to their

second straight win. Lou Gargarella added

the third touchdown on a 3 yd. end sweep.

goal-line untouched for four straight games .

Don Slate scampered into the end zone for

the winning touchdown with just under two

Victory spoiled the Polar Bears' perfect

record as they held the injury-riddled Bears

scoreless throughout the game. Dick Smith

through the air but just couldn't get the big

play.
