What's that in your hair?- not egg!"- "Josie,
What's behind that second door on the right?" -
Gladie and Joyce, you sure learned the true meaning
of curfews there, didn't you? Janie and Marian found
out that the housemothers don't appreciate dancing
in the halls in the wee hours . We could probably go
on for many more pages and more individual incidents,
but instead we'll just sit and remember the good times
we had down at the West Gate, Gallo's, Bradley's and,
of course, that fire parade. We have made new
acquaintances while on affiliations and some of these
we will always cherish. The "Methodist Martyrs", the
"Flower Pots". the girls from "St. Luke's", and last but
not least, the State students. We've really had some
good times together. One could say "A good time
was had by all" and really mean it. By the time we had
returned, we were sedate seniors! The Class of '59
now had 29 members after welcoming Ruthie and
Frankie. There was still only the one wedding in the
class but there were plenty of diamonds to be seen.
For the ones without the diamonds there were frat
parties. and , of course. the Senior Lounge. How about
that horrible week when the T.V. was broken? "Madge
and Ruthie, can you tell us the new record for T.V.
watching?"
Well, it is now drawing to a close, but we shall go
on building memories, looking forward to being able
to share them in the future With this thought in mind
we will close our memory book temporarily. Until we
can re-open it, we bid one another "adieu" and wish
everyone the best of luck, happiness, and success in
the future.
