the fall assembly was Robert J. Smithdas, deaf-blind
author of his autobiography. "Life at my Fingertips."

"Come to the fair!" One of the biggest events of the Le–
high Valley is its annual fair held at the Allentown fair–
grounds each September. Out to relax and enjoy them–
selves arc Rose Weiser, Mary Hollis and ~1ary D'Angelo.
''I'll be home for Christmas" sing the happy freshmen as
they bustle out the door. After almost four months of hard
studying Christmas vacation is a most welcome event.
There are ferris wheels, bright lights and many varieties
of food . At this time people are also afforded an opportun–
ity to have a free chest x-ray and tests for diabetes.
