Recreation electives allow outside activities

Boys P.E. classes play basketball in the gym during the early winter months.

In the boys' physical education classes,

students participated in such sports as

football, tennis, softball , basketball, and

track.

Physical education classes spent one

nine-week period studying health. While in

this program, students saw films, heard

speakers, and learned CPR. Many students

agreed that this was a pleasant change from

the outdoor sports everyday.

Rae. classes, a part of the physical

education department as an elective, allowed

the students to be active outside the

classroom. The students enrolled in Rae.

classes went bowling, played tennis,

baksetball , and softball.
