The Students
In an earnest attempt to comply with the
request of Dr. Jay Robinson, Superinten–
dent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg School
System, Mr. Richardson strove to reduce
absenteeism at South Mecklenburg.
Utilizing his superior leadership ability, Mr.
Richardson made the students realize the
importance of regular attendance at
school.
Mr. Richardson exhibited his administra–
tive capabilities by working with several
other teachers in preparing a re-evaluation
report of South for the Southern Associa–
tion of Colleges and Schools. This
time-consuming task proved the devotion
of Mr. Richardson as principal of South
Mecklenburg.
