The Harddrive For Success.
Elizabeth Summers puts the
finishing touches on a project in computer programming.
Knowing that computers were a part of many professions
encouraged many students to take this class.
Taking Care of Business
Getting a head start on the future, many
students chose to take classes that specialize
in specific career and technical skills. Learning
how to detail a car, manage a household, and
balance the books, were only some of the
lifeskills that these courses focused on. The
hands-on experience gained through these
courses of study provided students with an in–
depth look into some of the diverse paths they
could pursue after high school. They also gave
students a better knowledge ofjob skills needed
for life in the real world, such as production
quality, and longterm deadlines.
Amuch needed-break from core courses
like mathematics, science, and English, these
career and technical courses gave students a
chance to be creative and experiment with
different career choices. The outcome was that
Rebels learned they were successful at any–
thing they chose to pursue and were going ot
set the world on fire when their four years at
Franklin were over.
