Jesus
Young evangelist
to bring people to
The importance of bringing
people to Jesus highlights the
life of one young Christian
witness. Senior Chris Burke
encounters such highlights, as
he prepares his future as an
evangelist.
Chris spends most of his
time preparing sermons and
spreading the gospel. "Most
people can't believe that I'm
an evangelist considering my
age," Chris said, "but I do
get a lot of respect and a lot
of criticism."
Traveling to preach at
revivals, hunting, school
activities, a membership in
FCS, serving as
secretary-treasurer for his
church youth group, singing in
church trios, and teaching a
Sunday school class produce a
hectic schedule for Chris.
Chris has never experienced
any doubts about his future in
evangelism, and he plans to
continue and expand his work.
His goal is to set up
numerous programs to
influence the youth of today.
"I think get-togethers are
important in helping people
learn to live and grow
together, and in the future,
would like to establish
programs of this kind.
Actually, all I want to do is
go full time on the field. It's
the thing I can do best."
