'60-minute' man
receives honor
Known as a 60-minute
man on the football field,
Principal Cecil Pirkey
was inducted into the
East Texas State
University Hall of Fame
in October. To
commemorate the
occasion, faculty members
honored him at a surprise
party after school, with
Mrs. Mary Brooks aidi11g
in the surprise.

were held during
homecoming festivities at
ETSU in Commerce, TX.
