Our Junior Varsity basketball team
enjoyed an excellent season this year with
an over-all record of 12-6. In the Southern
Counties League the team placed second
with a 7-3 record, and in the Holiday Tour–
nament the boys won the trophy by first
beating Newark Valley 37-36 and then
Maine-Endwell 50-38. Steve McGavin led
the scorers with 267 points for the year.
Chuck Sibley had 245, and Brad Biddle 165.
Under Coach George Houck the little Indians
gained much basketball experience and also
learneda great dealabout beingyoung men.
