VARSITY BASKETBALL
With John Stimik's ball hawking, steve
Fuller's and Jim Clark's fine shooting, and
Gary
Deuel's and Sam Galli's rebounding, our
Indians had a successful season. They ended
at
.500 for the second straight year with a 9-9
record. They finished 6- 4 in the Southern Coun–
ties League· and second in the Holiday Tourna–
ment. High scorers were Jim Clark with 272
points,
Gary
Deuel with 210, and Steve Fuller
with 191. Under the excellent leadership of
Coach Fred Pierce, the team put up a good
showing and is looking forward
to
next year's
season in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference.
