The General Organization (the student
government of YHS) is, in many respects,
similar to our Federal Government. Both are
very large, very cumbersome, and equally
efficient.
evertheless, every year, after a
desperate flurry of speech-making and bal–
lot-box stuffing, the five G.O. officers are
chosen: the President, the Vice-President,
the Secretary, the Treasurer, and Mr. Barn–
hard. To assist the G.O. officers, a G.O.
council is formed.
