Miss YHS
Girl-watching is
a
very popular
extra-curricular activity in Yonkers
High School. It is therefore only
natural that one of the highlights
of the school year be the Miss
YHS assembly. This year the
student body was treated to
a
very interesting program. Barbara
Altz danced the Charleston. Hildy
Hepner sang "I Can't Say No,"
with Mr. Federico at the
pian~
Kathy Staltare sang "And When I
Die," accompanied by Wendy
Lawrence and joel Crimmins. Each girl was given
a
chance to display her
talent, poise, originality, and charm. After careful, albeit somewhat noisy
deliberation, the winner was selected.
