Upon entering Redstone High,
many girls vie for the coveted posi·
tions as majorettes, flag•girls and
letter-girls.
Those,
fortunate enough
to
be
selected, march and twirl tire–
lessly.
This year, head majorettes Marcia
Capriotti and Virginia Montagna in·
structed and drilled a squad
of
twenty-four girls. Time, patience and
practice resulted in classy perform·
ances. On the gridiron at half time,
these girls strutted proudly down the
field.
Too soon the season ended. At
the last football game, seniors shed
tears
of
joy and sorrow as they left
the field to the tune of "Auld Lang
Syne."
